In order to enhance the indigenous fish species of Lake Trasimeno, the Consorzio Pesca del Trasimeno, with the help of the Province di Perugia and the Regione Umbria, they wanted the construction of the Trasimeno ichthyogenic center (Centro Ittologico del Trasimeno) for the reproduction of fish freshwater species typical of the lake. For this work it was made the design of the breeding tanks for the pre-fattening, the entire complex of hydraulic circuits, all systems of intake and treatment of lake waters, as well as the complete tooling of the hatchery to the constructive design of hatcheries and of fiberglass tanks. For the implementation of the intervention we have also cared and brought to fruition funding practices through regional and community contributions.
