Plants engineering is one of the main activities of DP&P.

The first founding partner, Eng. Carlo Chiodin, is working in this field since 1979 and made several important projects in civil and industrial plants, both for private and public companies, always with an emphasis on environmental aspects and proper use of sources of renewable energy (hydro-solar and geothermal energy, district heating, energy recovery from industrial and agricultural waste; energy management and optimization of industrial, commercial and management complexes etc.).

Among the major clients: ENEL (Center for Thermal and Nuclear research), Assicurazioni Generali S.P.A. (various plants built in prestigious buildings as Palazzo Morosini and Palazzo Da Ponte, and many other historical buildings in Venice and large office complexes as Generali headquarters in Mogliano Veneto, the new EDP, etc.), Acque Minerali San Benedetto (industrial plants), Ascopiave S.P.A. ( solar and geothermal power plants in the new headquarters in Pieve di Soligo), Gruppo Zacchello in Venice (large real estate projects in Treviso and Venice, shopping center in Marcon, Warner Village multiplex cinema, Grand Hotel Crowne Plaza on the Sorrento Coast, etc.), Municipality of Treviso and Zero Branco (district heating plant of municipal school buildings); companies of Vacchi-I.M.A., Riello, Roncato, Martini, Stefanel, Monti, Marzotto and others; religious institutions and communities; Veneto Agricoltura (Regione Veneto) and many others.
